In week 28, a new and exciting catering offer opens for visitors and Ålesund’s population at Kongens gate 12. Come and get a taste of local produce this summer!
The final preparations are underway, cooking, cooking and washing are being done, and soon it will be ready for this summer’s pop-up restaurant in the pedestrianized street in Ålesund. “Pop-up restaurant is the right name for what we are doing now”, according to restaurant owner Ivar Breivik. “This will be a place where you can be served some selected dishes where we have put in the effort to give you a taste experience this summer. A small and varied menu, where we let local ingredients play the main role together with a large selection of good drinks. A real taste of Ålesund!”
The newly refurbished, small and cozy venue has room for around 40 guests, and the aim is to give each individual a pleasant and tasteful experience – whether it concerns visiting guests or permanent guests. “The restaurant will only be open this summer, and from September we will refit the premises into a new and permanent concept. It will be exciting and we welcome all guests, both to this and this summer’s pop-up restaurant!” concludes Breivik.
